Satellite
Satellite follows the repercussions of creating a virtual world designed to give people a second opportunity at life and those who control it. Stephen, an engineer, creates a virtual world (basically the Matrix) to allow people to learn and experience things they can't in the real world, but quickly comes to learn that to those inside the world he is essentially their god and he must come to terms with the responsibility of being an unwilling omniscient being to a universe of his own making.
I've been writing Satellite on and off for about 6 years at this point. I've come to realise that I struggle with extended focus but I would love to finish it especially considering that it's only meant to be around 60-70,000 words. I'll likely just self-publish once it's done as I have no real desires of being a full-time author and financial gain and fame have never been a priority for me so long as I can keep the lights on and feed my cat.

Eternity in this Listless Room
Eternity in this Listless Room is the story of an unnamed man who is the sole survivor of a terrorist attack who's world is figuratively and literally regressing around him. Through every entry he gets closer and closer to discovering why he perceives the world the way it does, what he must do to save himself and to understand the nature of the illusive being "Tomasz".
I'm not too far into it (and I'm undecided if it will become a game instead depending on the scope) but it's a less introspective than my other work and more an observation of the dichotomies of hope. If you're familiar with what the title is referencing, then you'll know what I'm ripping off.
